BITONE
Since 1834, Bitone has been a roadhouse serving as a stopping station for merchants and stagecoaches.
Its unique building, shaped like a “bitt”, gives it its name and lends it historical significance.
The surrounding area has also been named after the restaurant.
Located on Via Emilia, a Roman road built by Marco Aemilius Lepidus under the order of Caesar Augustus in 187 A.C., Bitone has been a well-loved restaurant for generations.
Thirty years ago, the present owners renovated the building to create a classic and elegant space outside the city center.
Their efforts were well received, as Bitone is recommended by the best gastronomic guides and is loved by both locals and visitors.
In addition to the main dining area, Bitone also has a private art deco lounge that is perfect for meetings, lunches, and elegant evenings.
Our waiters are knowledgeable and can recommend the specialties of the day.
