Yung Kee
The restaurant opened in 1942 on Wellington Street, Central.
It occupies two adjacent three-storey buildings that were built by an Italian merchant in 1900 after he made his fortune in the Californian Gold Rush.
Yung Kee’s charcoal grills are lined up at a long communal table in the centre of the dining room and diners sit around these to enjoy their meal.
